Black Star's inventory contains a multitude of unique gem related items. We are the general importer in the US for the esteemed Gem Clipper®, gem display, product line. Our inventory also includes an array of faceted and cabochon gemstones fashioned from the more popular and well known gems, such as: amethyst, citrine, garnet, peridot, tanzanite, emerald and aquamarine to the more unusual, such as: Mandarin garnet, andradite garnet, Mexican fire opal, star ruby, apatite and cat's eyes. We also carry a variety of specialty cuts and unusual shaped gemstones. We have trained our cutters to perfect various faceting styles such as: bullets, opposed bar (barrel cut), buff tops in squares, cushions and trillions, radiant cuts, checkerboard tops, carmel cuts, princess cuts, designer cabochons and others. We are constantly adding new styles, cuts and materials to our product line as they become available.

In addition to the above, we specialize in precious and specialty bead necklaces which are both unusual and exquisite. The strands are available in either a polished or faceted bead. These necklaces are fashioned from a variety of materials such as: emerald, ruby, sapphire, tanzanite, apatite, Mexican fire opal, Burmese red spinel and Australian opal.

Black Star has been showing at the worlds largest gem, mineral and jewelry show, in Tucson Arizona, since 1988. We currently show at the prestigious Gem and Jewelry Exchange (GJX) show, located across the street from the Tucson Convention Center downtown.
